‘Relapse’ series
This series was inspired by my intrigue towards human behaviour and the mind set of maintenance and repairs on architectural environments. I have explored society’s obligation and desire to maintain, fix or patch, swap or change the appearance of existing urban dwellings. My endeavour was to capture the minimalistic appeal and intrigue that comes with the raw, weather-beaten aspects of man-made urban structures, their weakened and decayed presence or human interference and ruin. My fascination of these urban-scapes is simply explained; they exist unnoticed as we walk on by, focused in our own world.
